II stage of XVI Republican Subject Student Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions on educational programme  5B05102 - Biotechnology

Pavlodar, 29-30 April 2024

The following documents are submitted for registration of the Olympiad participants:

1. Letter signed by the rector (supervising vice-rector) about the results of the I stage of the Olympiad or the decision of the Academic Council of the university with the recommendation for participation in the II stage;

2. Participant's application form (in the form of Appendix 1);

3. Certificate from the place of study of each participant;

4. Identity card/passport (copy).

Applications for participation in the Republican Student Subject Olympiad should be submitted by 20 April 2024, filling in the electronic form at the link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdwSZD8BjyX38wzbbWXSxhBy-LXn7knSCxIBIDUU05-fvYVaw/viewform?usp=sf_link (to be filled in for each participant), scanned versions of applications should be sent to the e-mail address: biotech_tou@mail.ru.

The II stage of the XVI Republican Subject Olympiad on the basis of Toraighyrov University will be held in 2 rounds:

1 round (29 April from 10:00 to 14:00): Testing and solving situational problems on disciplines: genetics, microbiology, basics of biotechnology, processes and devices in biotechnology, biochemistry.

Round 2 (30 April from 10:00 to 14:00): Practical/laboratory round (work in the laboratory).

Place of the Olympiad: Pavlodar city, Lomova str. 64, main academic building, Toraigyrov University.

Since the Olympiad consists of theoretical and practical (work in the laboratory) rounds, participation in the Online format is not provided!

II этап XVI Республиканской предметной студенческой олимпиаде среди студентов высших учебных заведений по группе образовательной программе В065 «Транспортная техника и технологии» по дисциплине «Энергетические установки транспортной техники»

Для регистрации участников олимпиады представляются следующие документы:

II этап XVI Республиканской предметной студенческой олимпиаде по направлению подготовки 6B061 Информационно-коммуникационные технологии

При выдвижении студентов для участия во втором этапе Республиканской предметной Олимпиаде высшее учебное заведение направляет в Торайгыров университет следующие документы:

- письмо за подписью ректора (проректора) об итогах первого этапа олимпиады или решение Ученого совета ВУЗа, которое оформляется протоколом;

- заявку на участие (Приложение 2) во втором этапе Республиканской предметной Олимпиады на базе Торайгыров Университет(заполняется на каждого участника);

  - справку с места учебы каждого участника;

1 тур (25 апреля с 10:00 до 13:00): в письменном виде по тестовым заданиям по 2 дисциплинам: «Базы данных», «Компьютерные сети», составленным на казахском и русском языках.

Обеденный перерыв с 13:00 до 14:00.

2 тур (25 апреля с 14:00 до 18:00): 3 задачи по программирование (Операционная система: Windows; языки программирования: С++, C#, Java, Python).

            On the basis of the letter No. 14-0/1196-vn dated 13.03.2024 of the Committee of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - the Committee) in accordance with subparagraph 5) of item 23 of the Order of I.O. No. 443 of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of August 25, 2023 "On the approval of the Rules for awarding educational grants for the payment of higher or post-graduate education with the award of the degree of "bachelor" or "master"" it is necessary to submit documents of applicants for vacant grants remaining after redistribution, to participate in competition for awarding vacant grants until March 26, 2024.

            To participate in the competition, students on a contractual basis must submit the following documents to the faculty dean’s office:

            1) a student’s statement indicating consent to publish his GPA score in the public domain (A-115, DSP);

            2) extract from the student’s transcript (A-115, DSP);

            3) a copy of the identity card.

            Pay special attention to the following aspects:

            1) The competition is based on the average GPA for the entire period of study;

            2) Only applicants from the regions identified within the framework of this program can apply for vacant grants allocated for the training of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from among rural youth moving to regions determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Serpin).

         3) Students with grades “F” cannot apply for vacant educational grants.

We announce the competition for the program Academic mobility on a free basis for students of the 1, 2 and 3 courses, studying under the state educational grant and also on a paid basis to study in the fall semester of 2024-2025 academic year in a foreign university (in CIS countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan). The main criteria for competitive selection is high academic performance during the entire period of study. Knowledge of a foreign language is not required.

A competition is announced under the Academic Mobility program for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students studying on a state educational grant (as of the 2024-2025 academic year) to study in the autumn semester of the 2024-2025 academic year at a foreign university (European countries) at the expense of republican funding. The main criteria for competitive selection are high academic performance for the entire period of study, knowledge of a foreign language and the assessment of an Independent Expert Commission*.

There are two ways to submit documents for the competition: paper through the university office or through the e-government web portal www.egov.kz (hereinafter referred to as the portal):

List of documents:

1) the application form (2 copy);

2) The questionnaire form;

2) a copy of the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) a transcript of the current academic performance certified by the seal of the university;

4) a document confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language (the applicant provides one of the following documents):

a) a certificate obtained through the international foreign language proficiency assessment systems (IELTS, TOEFL), if available;

b) a letter of consent from a foreign university to accept a student with an existing level of a foreign language;

c) the test result of a Kazakhstan university (Toraighyrov University) (not lower than the B2 level);

*In the absence of the document specified in paragraph a) or b), the student can take an English language test in the International Office (office 117) . To pass the test, you must submit an application by writing to the email mobilnost_psu@mail.ru till 25 March, 2024.

5) medical certificate (for traveling abroad) in the form No. 072 / u approved by the Order of the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020 No. KR DSM-175/2020 (registered in the Register of State Registration of Regulatory Legal Acts No. 21579) (hereinafter-Order No. KR DSM-175/2020);

6) written consent of the applicant's parents, guardians, legal representatives to travel abroad, if they do not reach the age of eighteen at the time of departure from the Republic of Kazakhstan;

7) a document on the composition of the family, to confirm the large family of the student;

8) a document confirming the absence of the student's parents (for the category of students belonging to orphans or students left without parental care (if available);

9) a document confirming the student's disability.

To submit through the e-government web portal, applicants provide the above-indicated documents.

The deadline for submitting applications is March 29, 2024.

In case of submitting documents through the university office, the package of documents has to be brought to International Office (260 office).
