The Institute of Continuing Education of NJSC "Toraigyrov University" carries out its activities in accordance with the University's human resource development strategy aimed at finding and developing talented employees, forming an internal personnel reserve, organizing corporate training, succession planning, and mentoring development.

The main tasks of the ICE:

- planning and directing the professional development of the University's teaching staff and staff to improve scientific, theoretical and methodological knowledge and professional competencies in accordance with the qualification requirements;

- providing additional professional education in all areas of the University's educational programs for teaching staff and University staff, as well as specialists from higher and secondary educational institutions, enterprises and organizations, and citizens of all categories.

- planning and organization of additional types of Kazakh, Russian and foreign language education;

- formation of a contingent of students of the preparatory department for representatives of the foreign Kazakh diaspora and foreign citizens;

- conducting preparatory courses in the relevant profile for admission to higher education institutions and obtaining qualifications through the system of basic classes;

- formation of a contingent of students and international students through the Foundation program, including specialized disciplines and language training;

- organization of work in the field of "Cumis TOU - Silver University" according to the Regulations on "Cumis TOU - Silver University" of the University;

- carrying out work on organizing the exchange of experience, interaction with international and Kazakhstani third-party organizations in the field of developing additional competencies, scientific and methodological activities on the problems of teaching language disciplines, professional skills of teaching staff and University staff.
