Invertebrate Animals’ Zoology Room

 А-415а – Invertebrate Animals’ Zoology

Lectures, practical and laboratory classes in Invertebrate animals’ zoology, medical entomology, general parasitology, methods of helminthes, helminthology are carried out in the room.

During training all the aids are used: TV, video-recorder, DVD player. Collection materials, gathered by students during field practice, are used at practical classes. This gives an opportunity to get acquainted  with fauna of invertebrate animals in the region more closely. 

Vertebrate Animals’ Zoology Room

 А-418 – Vertebrate Animals’ Zoology

Classes in disciplines vertebrate animals, comparative morphology of animals, biology of forest animals and birds etc. are carried out in the room. Along with aids microscopes, microslides, collection materials are used. There are preparations in basic themes of vertebrate animals` zoology.

General Biology Room

The room is for classes in disciplines biodiversity of fauna, ecological biology, methods of biology teaching, paleontology of Pavlodar region, bioresources of Kazakhstan, nature conservation legislation. During classes all the students use map cases, tables, reference materials.

Human Anatomy and Physiology Room

А-416 – Human Anatomy and Physiology

Lectures, practical and laboratory classes in disciplines human anatomy, human and animals` physiology, animals` physiology, physiology and evolution of higher nervous activity, peculiarities of age-specific anatomy, human biology are carried out in the room. The room is equipped with microscopes, microslides, map cases, tables necessary for carrying out laboratory and practical classes.

А-515а - Office of General Ecology

Cabinet is equipped with tables, boards, necessary for the classroom in the disciplines: Ecology, Human Ecology, Environmental education and outlook, Introduction to the profession, teaching about the environment, basics of nature.

А-515 - Office of Ecology Monitoring

Cabinet is equipped with tables, tablets, necessary for the classroom in the disciplines: Ecotoxicology, Environmental Monitoring, Industrial Ecology. Also here are microscopes and complexes of reagents for laboratory work in various disciplines of the specialty.

А-520а - Office of Bioecology

The Cabinet is equipped with tables, tablets, and also stored here Herbarium, collected in the process of passing the field practice of students and teachers of the department. Cabinet is designed for such disciplines as biological ecology, biodiversity of plants, animals and microorganisms, plant ecology.

A-437 Laboratory of dendrochronology 

Started its work in 2013 (has a license,  passport, LINTABTM 6 device, has been checked, has a certificate)

The laboratory is oriented to dendrochronological researches

The laboratory has a device - LINTAB-Digital linear positioning, model LINTABTM 6. Status - modern, year made 2009. Inventory nomer123092322.

Laboratory mainly scientific field, where the students, master’s and doctoral students and teaching staff of the department carry out research work on the dendrochronology.

 Students on field practice

For consolidation of received theoretical and practical knowledge on the vertebrates and the invertebrates zoology , according to the curriculum students-biologists together with the head of practical training go to Bayanaul National Nature Park, as well as in the vicinities of Pavlodar City with the purpose of firsthand acquaintance with species composition, biology and ecology, peculiarities of biotopical distributions of region’s fauna. In field conditions students master the basic methods of collecting and processing of animal material, as well as making of total and damp preparations.

In the form of the report on field practice students make and hand over collection material which is used in educational process.
