The delegation of Toraighyrov University within two weeks exchanges experience in the field of higher education management.

The program, sponsored by the United States government, takes place in several cities and aims to familiarize the rectors and heads of international departments of Kazakhstan universities with the best US practices in managing universities and colleges.

Throughout the program, participants will learn about the methods used by American universities to monetize research and participate in international research.

In Washington, a well-known scientist, author of a series of books, a professor at the University of Michigan, Kathleen Fitzpatrick, in her speech told about the humanization of higher education, that we have lost the basic concept of trust between a university and society. She spoke of generous thinking, of trust-based contact with a number of communities outside the campus about common interests and problems. The whole system is tripled on a sweated stressful competition and Kathleen Fitzpatrick calls not for competition, but for interaction.

At a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United States, Yerzhan Kazykhanov, partnership priorities were discussed in the development of sustainable and mutually beneficial relations between Kazakhstan and the United States of America.

Toraighyrov University has built partnership with the State University of New York, Columbia University, and University of Southern California.
