S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University has conducted the “Shapagat” charitable campaign.

Students activists of PSU together with the employees of the Department of Educational and Social Affairs have conducted a charitable campaign during which they have provided medicines to 17 rear workers.

According to the head of Educational and Social Affairs Department of PSU, Dana Mukhametzhanova, the University’s veterans are always supported by the employees and students. In Ramadan the University decided to help the veterans by providing free medicines for them. Since many medicines are too expensive today, pensioners cannot afford buying them. «Undoubtedly, such events make our students cultivate a sympathetic attitude towards older generations. Students learn to respect the elders, to be kind to people, who need help” says Dana Tolegenovna

The student of PSU Yernur Sagyntay considers that everyone can do a good deed for those who are in need despite his or her income. “I think a person can be kind to people not waiting for religious holidays. As we do good to others for the sake of our own future”, says Yernur.
