The Expert Clubs sessions were held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University within the XVI session of the Youth Policy Council under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on October 29, 2013.

Expert Clubs were established to ensure timely identification and analysis of the socio-economic problems of young people and develop recommendations for effective implementation of the national youth policy. The mission of Expert Clubs is to identify the mechanisms for solving the problems of the youth based on the best international practices, deep knowledge of the day-to-day reality, and invitation of experts from all areas related to youth policy.

The heads of regional departments on youth policy, sport and education, as well as Maslikhat deputies responsible for youth policy issues took part in this session.

Sessions of the Expert Clubs were held in five areas:

- improvement of the regulatory framework and research support;

- regional development;

- implementation of social projects;

- development of business, innovation and science;

- media communications.

Among the moderators of these expert clubs sessions were Vice-minister of Regional Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin; Vice-minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Kyrykbayev; Mazhilis Deputy Meyram Begentayev; Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Bayterek National Management Holding JSC Danat Zhumin.

Expert support is one of the key priorities. As a result of the Expert Clubs sessions, targeted recommendations were developed for improvement of the state youth policy.
