In December 2002, an archaeological museum was opened, which bears the name of Alkey Khakanovich Margulan, a famous scientist, academician, archaeologist, ethnographer, and philologist. It is the fifth and largest museum in the PSU museum complex. Over the years, a lot of work has been done to formulate the exhibition material of the museum, which currently has 1,070 storage units of the main fund. A significant contribution to the founding of the museum was made by the Center for Archaeological Research named after. A. Margulan (Director, Candidate of historical Sciences V.K. Merts). The archaeological museum displays tools of the Paleolithic era: hand axes, knives, axes. The Chalcolithic and Bronze Age section presents examples of ceramics, bronze, gold and stone products. There are interesting examples of cultures of the Hunno-Sarmatian and Kimak periods, collections of grave goods, remains of weapons, belt and bridle sets of the Middle Ages. The museum's exposition is built on rich factual material obtained as a result of many years of archaeological research, clearly reflecting the consistent development of material culture in the territory of the Pavlodar Irtysh region since ancient times. The museum's exposition is constantly updated with new exhibits obtained during field research at the archaeological center and students' educational practice.

The PSU History Museum was opened on May 18, 2005. Its main objectives are to study and promote the history of the university, collect and exhibit museum materials related to the history of the university; instilling in staff and students high civic and moral qualities, respect and love for the university; formation of an active position in them in strengthening and further development of their native university, as well as popularization of the achievements of our university. The museum presents materials on the history of the university since its founding (1960). These are photographic materials, documents, student cards, grade books, diploma projects of the first graduates, materials telling about the development of the university to the present day, photographs of graduates, honorary deans and professors, war and labor veterans. Models of the main objects of the university are exhibited - buildings, dormitories, stadiums, and the Bayantau recreation center. The exhibition fund of the museum consists of over 500 storage units. A thematic excursion on the history of the university for teachers and students is a significant help for their educational and career guidance work.

The opening of the museum dedicated to the work of the “Dos-Mukasan” music group took place on September 28, 2008 and was timed to coincide with the annual III Republican festival “Dos Star” (Songs of the “Dos-Mukasan” music group). For the first time in Kazakhstan, a museum has been opened representing the history and creativity of the legendary ensemble, which began its concert activities in the Pavlodar region. The exhibition features more than 600 photographs reflecting the creative process of the ensemble, musical instruments and concert costumes of the participants. The main goal of opening the museum is to develop an active citizenship and sense of patriotism among students.
