The first stage of the mentoring project for young and novice teachers took place at Toraighyrov University.

Teaching assistant Marat Ordabayev held an open lesson with the mentor,  professor of the department of EP “Industrial and Civil Engineering” Kuandyk Sakanov.

The trainee teacher gave a lecture on reinforced concrete and stone structures, reinforced concrete foundations.

The idea of introducing mentoring at our university arose during advanced training courses for teaching staff at the university under the “Mentor's School” program, where it was found that novice teachers have a need for mentoring.

It is worth noting that the HR service initiated the creation of an “Idea Factory”, where every student, teacher or any participant of the educational process can present their constructive ideas and proposals for improving the work of our university. There the idea of launching a pilot mentoring project was born.

- In our opinion, mentoring has great prospects, since the university employs both invited production teachers and young ones who do not have teaching experience. In addition, we consider the introduction of mentoring among students to be a promising direction,” noted Anar Zhakisheva, head of the HR service.
