Debaters of Toraighyrov University became the best in the republican tournament dedicated to the 155th anniversary of A. Bukeikhanov.

16 factions, 32 speakers, 9 universities from Uralsk, Karaganda, Aktobe and Kostanay competed in eloquence and debated on the modernization of Kazakhstani society.

Representatives of the “President” faction Kenzhebek Dalelkhan and Eldos Muslim won the second place.

Aisana Sakhimzadinova Nurkhan Yeraly from “Elita” faction became the winners of the competition.

Let us note that recently the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov announced the revival of the debate movement. 

“Debates develop critical thinking skills, learn to analyze information, work in a team, formulate questions and answer them.  Participants in debates are less susceptible to propaganda and populist ideas, because participation in them forms the ability to argue their position”.
