In addition, an analysis of the scientific activities of universities in Kazakhstan was conducted on the basis of data from the Scopus and Web of Science scientometric databases.
Also during the seminar, an opinion was expressed on the need to create and develop institutional repositories of universities.
“The Library of Nazarbayev University follows high academic standards and is a unique example of introducing innovations and new technologies in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main goal of the library, its collections, programs and services is to support students, teachers and scientists not only of Nazarbayev University, but also of the whole of Kazakhstan in the research and educational process”, G.Amanova said.
It is worth noting that the library has served as a consulting and training center for Kazakhstani librarians for many years, where seminars are held on topical issues of modern information and library services for higher education.
