The seminar “Education of a Kazakhstani of new formation in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution” was held at Faculty of Humanities and Education at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

The event was organized as part of the explanation of the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan “New Development Opportunities in the Context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution”.

The participants were welcomed by the dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education, Candidate of Political Sciences, Amergaly Begimtayev.

As it was noted in the Address, the ideal of our society should be a Kazakhstani who knows his history, language, culture, while modern, speaking foreign languages, having advanced and global views.

The program of the multilingual education started at S.Toraighyrov PSU in 2012, also the Center for Multilingual Education operates on the basis of the University, the educational and methodological support is being changed.

So, in 2017, textbooks and teaching aids were published in English, including on electronic media, the development of competence-language models of educational programs. The number of specialties with trilingual preparation on both the bachelor's degree and in the magistracy is increasing annually.

It is also worth noting that the university has developed a whole range of educational programs and disciplines, taking into account international requirements and digital skills, attracting employers and top foreign universities for cooperation.

In her presentation, the second-year Master’s degree student of Philosophy Elina Pauli noted, that human capital in the broadest sense of the word - is an intensive productive factor in the development of the economy, society.

Previously, we received education for the rest of our lives, working in the same company for 40-50 years. Today we can call a new slogan - education through life. We must learn and update our knowledge every day, regardless of age and social status”, she said.
