Within the framework of the International Anti-Corruption Day, S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University hosted the regional anti-corruption forum “To the future without corruption by modernizing public consciousness”.

The Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption in Pavlodar region was the organizer jointly with the apparatus of akim of Pavlodar region and “Khabar” Agency

The forum gathered more than 150 people. Deputy akim of Pavlodar region Baurzhan Kasenov, deputy head of the Department of the National Anti-corruption Bureau in Pavlodar region Marat Kattaubayev, scientists of the university, representatives of government and law enforcement bodies, students took part in the event.

At the forum, the main problems and methods of fight against corruption, including the improvement of criminal and administrative anti-corruption legislation were discussed.

During the event, the regional media competition for the best journalistic work on anti-corruption theme was summed up, the public representatives of our region, actively taking part in the formation of the anti-corruption culture of the population was also awarded.

At the end of the meeting creative groups and soloists of the university philharmonic presented the concert program, performing the song “Adal bol”, the authors of which are students of S. Toraighyrov PSU. Also, the audience was pleased with the performance of the voluntary school club “Adal urpak” of May district.

In conclusion, an acting head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption in Pavlodar region Gulmira Kabiyeva noted that today's forum will give a new impetus to the joint work of the state and society in considering socially significant problems and should become a traditional event.
