Today the rector of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Gaukhar Akhmetova met with the senior expert of SES (Germany) Dr.-Ing. Gisela Elisabeth Barthold.

S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University regularly cooperates with Dr.-Ing. Gisela Elisabeth Barthold within the framework of the SPIID-2. This time the senior expert will stay in Pavlodar from October 17 till October 6, 2017.

The purpose of the seminars for the teaching staff and Master’s degree students of Faculty of Metallurgy, Machine-building and Transport on the theme "Development of research on steelmaking and the production of weldless tubes " was the study of the experience of German metallurgical companies in the development and implementation of innovative technologies to improve the quality of steel and weldless tubes, metallographic and mechanical tests of steel.

For Master’s degree students, studying within the SPIID-2, Dr.-Ing. Gisela Elisabeth Barthold conducts classes on the discipline "Mechanical testing of materials" and "Innovative technologies for processing raw materials resources of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy". 

In accordance with the concept of multilingual education, classes are conducted in English and German.

The visit of the senior SES expert to the steel manufacturers of Pavlodar MC LLP "Casting", LLP "KSP Steel" for the purpose of sharing experiences is planned.

According to Vice-rector for academic work, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Bykov P.O.: "Cooperation with leading experts in the German metallurgy allows us to" compare notes "and compare the results of scientific research conducted at S. Toraighyrov PSU in the field of production of steel and weldless tubes with the results of scientific and innovative work of German colleagues".
