S. Toraighyrov PSU became part of the VII International Youth Forum of Cross-Border Cooperation "Birlik - Edinstvo.Kz".

Annually the forum demonstrates the readiness of the young generation for creative cooperation, development in solving a wide range of issues, the implementation of projects and initiatives, and strengthening of international contacts.

Delegations from Moscow, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, the Altai Territory, the Komi Republic and various regions of Kazakhstan took part in the forum. In addition, there were students, representatives of youth organizations and starting entrepreneurs from South Korea, China, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

The forum on the basis of the Pavlodar State University was preceded by an exhibition of works by start-up entrepreneurs of the Start-up Academy of the university. Already well-known projects (“Alau”, “Rimmini”, “Tafella”) and new developments, including the first interactive multilingual Pavlodar guide "QR- GUIDE ", an innovative educational center "ITHOUSE", a 24-hour canteen " Dream Catcher ", as well as handicrafts made by children from the “Samal” Rehabilitation Center, prepared in the framework of the" Overcoming" project, were presented to the guests.

Participants of the plenary session "Interethnic diplomacy in the ХXI century: new challenges, new trends" were welcomed by the deputy akim of the Pavlodar region Meiram Begentayev.

Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the Presidential Administration Leonid Prokopenko emphasised that it is necessary to invest not only financial means, but also understand that peace and harmony is also the most powerful economic asset of Kazakhstan. 

Director of the business incubator of Tel-Aviv University (Israel), Elena Donets, talking about socially-oriented entrepreneurship, especially focused on the fact that business should not only bring money, but also contribute to the development of technologies that are designed to help society.

The main theme of the speech of Director of the business-incubator of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (Moscow) Ruslan Mamedov was that today it is necessary to think – with who will have to compete tomorrow, taking into account that the development of artificial intelligence will completely replace many professions by robotics.

At the end of the official part of the forum acting Rector of PSU, vice-rector for science and innovation Nurlan Yerzhanov handled the challenge cup "Birlik-Edinstvo. Kz " to the chairman of the youth branch of the Association of Uzbeks of the Republic of Kazakhstan " Dustlik " Sherzod Pulatov.

International experience in the development of the ecosystem of start-ups, ethnic mediation, modern trends in the youth environment and other questions were discussed during the forum.

Also the owner of one million tenge became a Master's Degree Student of PSU Alfarabi Uzak. His project "KazAgroTrade" became the best in the competition StartUP battle.

"Our project is a platform of electronic cooperation uniting agricultural producers of Kazakhstan. The client leaves an application on the site, and it immediately delivers to producers as SMS indicating the type of culture, the volume of the product and contact information", said the winner of the contest. Alfarabi noted that he plans to invest this prize in upgrading the technical support of the project.
