The crew of the film "I love you, Akerke!" started a charity promotional tour from the largest university of Pavlodar region, S.Toraighyrov PSU.
One and a half hours of sharply-social drama will tell the audience about life of Akerke Dzhurymbayeva, who in 2012 became sick with blood cancer.
According to the crew, Akerke fought for life for about a year. During this time she bravely endured a very difficult treatment, which was accompanied by very painful procedures.
"Funds for Akerke’s treatment were collected by the whole world" - say the members of the crew.
Akerke fought against cancer to the last, but in 2013 she fell into a coma and died of acute lymphatic leukaemia.
In memory of Akerke her friends and relatives started shooting this film. Nine artists were starred, including the couple who played Akerke and her beloved Azamat.
The crew puts an emphasis on the fact that at all stages of creating of the film, there were a lot of willing to help. The actors were filmed without honorarium. Expensive high quality equipment for the film we also got from caring people by way of a grant for the duration of filming. According to the filmmakers, every day they felt invisible presence of Akerke and her support.
The film will be released in Akerke’s hometown - Aktobe on February 1. To the general public film "I love you, Akerke!" will be released on February 2.
On the question of what creators of the picture expect from the audience and what is its current mission Meirim Argimbayeva said: "All the funds raised from the distribution of a motion picture will go to charity. In Astana there is a child who is badly in need of treatment".
Also the crew shared the prediction about the success of the film: "We talked to the" providers", and they said that we have only two possible outcomes, taking into account the fact that such film in our country was not shot before," I love you, Akerke!" will have either a colossal success with the audience, or a total failure. A third is not given. But whatever the outcome, this film is our tribute to the memory and the deepest love for our Akerke", - said Naziya Nazarbek.
