S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University opened its doors to the prospective students of university.

This day in PSU it was possible to meet graduates of schools and colleges of Pavlodar and Pavlodar region. Guests were greeted by a museum and theatrical performance. Several platforms have been presented to the audience, each of which reflected fragments of historical events. 

At the opening ceremony vice-rector for academic work of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Gaukhar  Akhmetova told prospective students about the opportunities and prospects that opens for them studying in one of the leading universities of Kazakhstan.

Gaukhar Galymovna also noticed that, PSU is in the top five of the best higher education institutions of the country, taking the leading positions on many indicators. There is an opportunity to enter the military department and to receive a military rank in addition to the diploma. Training at "Foundation" faculty will help prospective students with preparation for UNT and CT.

S. Toraighyrov PSU of has entered the world rating of the university websites "Webometrix" which is considered as one of the most authoritative, taking the fifth place in the country and Central Asia. PSU is the only state university in the Pavlodar region which is carrying out three-level training (a bachelor degree, a magistracy and doctorate PhD) on a wide range of specialties. The university is a member of the European association of universities and awarded the international award "The European quality".

Trends of PSU are: programs of the academic mobility, the invitation of foreign lecturers, introduction of dual education, and development of enterprise and leadership skills in students.

Creative groups of student philharmonic showed their performances.

The lottery in which awarded sweatshirts of university and valuable gifts became a pleasant surprise for guests. Aiman Kenzhebalina, a pupil of № 37 school became the owner of the first prize – the laptop.

After the official part of the program deans of PSU held consultations and introduced the prospective students the terms of admission to the university, and answered all their questions about the features of teaching and educational activities, cultural and social life of the university.
