The Night at the Museum Event was held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, in the course of which guests became the heroes of hystorical legends.
Five platforms were presented to the event’s attendees; each of them represented fragments of historical events.
The Kazakh national musical instrument, kobyz, was demonstrated at the first platform. Also a legend about its creation and the life of an outstanding Turkic soothsayer Korkyt ata was told. The live performance of the kuy Zhalghys ayak became one of the highlights of the event. A short stage play featuring a performance by Zhuldyz Zhumadilova, a famous dombrist, was presented to the audience.
The next platform made guests experience the atmosphere of the nomad epoch. They were given much information about masters-zergers, the Kazakh applied arts and the traditions of our ancestry. Thereafter, guests got acquainted with batyrs, who protected their motherland with courage and honor. They told the audience about weapons of past ages and the qualities of an ideal batyr.
In conclusion, guests visited the City of Masters, where painters created their masterpieces and craftsmen made jewelries and household items.
