The student of the Faculty of Business and Law of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Igor Kondratyev, became a champion of the XVIII International competition on the prizes of Olympic Champion Tatiana Kolpakova.

The student of the Faculty of Business and Law of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Igor Kondratyev, captured a silver medal in the 400-metre run and won the champion’s title in the 4x400-metre relay race with barriers, having defended the honour of Kazakhstan at the international competition.

Igor Kondratyev is a master of sports at the world level in track and field athletics. The sportsman stands up for the honour of the republic at international and republican competitions.

During his studies at the University Igor Kondratyev has won a great number of titles and prizes at the republican and international level. In particular, in 2014 he became the winner of the Asian games, Seul. In February of the current year he won the silver medal at the Republican Championship held in Ust-Kamenogorsk.

The dean of the Faculty of Business and Law of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Tahir Yazdurdiyevich, says that despite having a strict schedule of trainings and trips, Igor has defended his diploma thesis with the best possible grade, proving that he shows persistence not only in sport, but also in acquiring knowledge.

Tahir Yazdurdiyevich has congratulated his student Igor, who is now a graduate student of the Faculty of Business and Law and a future Master’s student of the faculty, and wished him success both in his future sport competitions, and in his studies for the Master’s degree in economics.

“If you want to be a successful specialist, you should gain qualitative knowledge. That is why I decided to continue my education exactly at PSU”, told Igor.

At this time Igor is passing the entrance examinations required for admission to the Master’s economic program, after that he is going to participate in the Olympiad-2016,which will take place in a Brazil city, Rio de Janeiro.
