Gulmarzhan Kasenova, a Senior Lecturer of the Department of Geography and Tourism of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, is the winner of the 3rd National Competition for Teachers “My Best Lesson Presentation”.
Senior Lecturer Gulmarzhan Kasenova received the first-place diploma for her innovative model of a lesson in “Transport of Kazakhstan”.
The jury praised the individuality, structure, author's style and expressiveness of the presentation.
According to Gulmarzhan Kasenova, one of the main priorities now is the use of new information technologies in education. Teacher's task is increasing students' motivation, ensure the formation and development of cognitive interest and abilities, creative thinking and skills of independent intellectual work. It is important to engage students in the active process of skills development using modern approaches to learning. “Teaching in higher education should be aimed at preparing specialists whose knowledge and skills fully meet the requirements of the modern information society,” she said.
Gulmarzhan Kasenova successfully demonstrated the technology of project teaching with students majoring in Geography. This technique is an important condition for the successful teaching of geographical culture and knowledge to future professionals.
The competition held by ZIAT Research and Methodological Center LLP is designed for workers in the field of education.
