Aleksey Bogomolov, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Metallurgy of S. Toraighyrov PSU, received a Wilhelm Leibniz medal and diploma.
The official procedure of electing honorary doctors (DOCTOR OF SCIENCE, HONORIS CAUSA) was held by the International Academy of Natural History during the scientific and practical conference entitled “The International System of Academic Staff Certification” (Munich, Germany).
By the decision of the Department of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics of the European Scientific and Industrial Consortium, Aleksey Bogomolov received a diploma and Wilhelm Leibniz medal (MEDAL EUROPEAN SCIENTIFIC AND INDUSTRIAL CONSORTIUM «ESIC» - Wilhelm Leibniz) for his achievements in introduction of innovative technologies and significant contribution to the development of engineering sciences.
The Awards Committee of the European Scientific and Industrial Consortium noted that A. Bogomolov's research results in the field of integrated hardening of metallic materials, metallurgy, heat treatment of metals and metal forming are of considerable interest and can be used in the industry.
“I believe that this award is not only recognition of the results of my previous work, but also a good stimulus for further research,” said Aleksey Bogomolov.
The results of Aleksey Bogomolov’s research activities are recognized by the international scientific community. He is a corresponding member of the International Informatization Academy (IIA), expert of the National Center for Scientific and Technical Expertise of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor of the Russian Academy of Natural History, Doctor of Science, Honoris Causa of the International Academy of Natural History. He has over 150 scientific publications, including 22 patents for inventions, 9 study guides and 2 monographs.
