The photo exhibition held by active members of Zhas Otan at PSU focuses on the state language problems.

The purpose of the photo exhibition is extending the sphere of the state language functioning among young people, improving its social role and status, development of tolerance and a sense of national patriotism.

All photos were selected during the Taza Til event held under the Kazaksha Suyleyik campaign and then placed in the lobby of S. Toraighyrov PSU. Zhuldyz Ybytayeva, Deputy Regional Executive Secretary, noted the importance of the photo exhibition in the cultural life of students. “Speaking the same language is essential in working with young people, and the photo language is definitely very close to them. So this is why we have chosen photos for effective promotion of the state language and the culture of the Kazakh people”, said Zhuldyz Kasenova.

Zhas Otan members took an active part in the event. Nurzhan Makysh performed a patriotic song Zhasa Kazak Tilim. There was another musical performance from Abdrakhman Bekenov. Dias Akimzhanov demonstrated fantastic skills in football freestyle.

“Active members of Zhas Otan are not indifferent to the future of our country. Young people should always remember that the language is the foundation of the state. Therefore, anyone who considers oneself a real patriot must speak the state language properly, without making mistakes. It is a matter of national importance. Let's hope that the exhibition will have a positive impact on young people and make them think about the problems of the state language,” said Kausar Zhomartova, the Executive Secretary of Zhas Otan Primary Branch at S. Toraighyrov PSU.
