Celebration of the Day of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction took place in the concert hall of S. Toraighyrov PSU.

The Faculty has four departments: Department of Industrial, Civil and Transport Construction, Department of Production and Standardization of Construction Materials, Department of Architecture and Design, and Department of Vocational Education and Environmental Protection.

The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction is Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor Marat Kuderin. The Faculty employs over 40 Doctors and Candidates of Sciences.

The Faculty has a long history of successful cooperation with Prague Technical University, Odessa Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Tashkent Automobile and Roads Institute, and Siberian State Automobile and Highway Academy.

Members of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction work in close cooperation with the leading companies of the construction industry, research and design organizations in order to conduct research and development activities. Agreements have been concluded with Irtyshtransstroy Association, Gensstroy LLP, Atamura LLP, ASI LLP, and Zhardem LLP.

Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Production and Standardization of Construction Materials Viktor Stanevich, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Vocational Education and Environmental Protection Kapar Aryngazin, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Architecture and Design Leonid Bulyga, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Professor Maksut Shintemirov, and Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Professor Vasiliy Danilov congratulated their colleagues on the Day of the Faculty.

Professor of the Department of Water Resources Development of Lund University Ronny Berndtsson, Head of Irtyshtransstroy Association Mikhail Zykov, and Director of Talapker LLP Kadyr Yeralinov were the guests of honor at this event. 'The Faculty of Architecture and Construction is a modern scientific center for training specialist of the new formation. Wherever they work, your alumni are always characterized by high level of professional skills and dedication to the chosen profession,' said the Head of Irtyshtransstroy Association Mikhail Zykov.
