A concert by a Distinguished Artist of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, winner of international contests, Professor of N.G. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory Yevgeniy Mikhaylov took place at the Concert Hall of S. Toraighyrov PSU on October 23, 2013.

Yevgeniy Mikhaylov came to S. Toraighyrov PSU under the program of inviting foreign lecturers to give lectures to the students of the Department of Performing Arts from October 14 till 27, 2013.

Noted by critics for “undoubted talent and musicality”, Yevgeniy Mikhailov gave more than five hundred concerts in different parts of the world - from South America and the USA to China at such prestigious venues as the Civic Auditorium (Los Angeles) and Steinway Hall (New York) in the USA, Berlin Philharmonic Hall, G. Verdi Conservatory Hall in Milan, Salle Cortot in Paris, St.Martin-in-the-fields church in London, City Hall in Hong Kong, CRR Сoncert Hall in Istanbul, etc.

The range of his activity is very wide: he is a member of the jury at national and international competitions; he conducts seminars, workshops and open classes in the cities of Russia and other CIS countries, the USA, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, and Estonia. Many students of Ye. Mikhaylov are winners of national and international contests, they give concerts and teach students both in Russia and abroad.
