Toraighyrov University hosted an open lecture by Professor Muhammad Ali from the Department of Biotechnology at Quaid-i-Azam University (Islamabad, Pakistan). The session was dedicated to "Academic Writing and Practice in Developing International Projects."

Professor Muhammad Ali detailed the key stages of research project development, ranging from defining a scientific problem and setting goals to selecting methodologies, budgeting, and meeting the specific requirements of grant-funding organizations. Special emphasis was placed on drafting research manuscripts, structuring papers using the IMRAD format, selecting target journals, and adhering to international publishing standards.

As part of the visit, the program also includes lectures and masterclasses for students, professional development for teaching staff, a scientific seminar, consultations on preparing international publications, and discussions on potential joint research initiatives and academic mobility.

Implemented under the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan's program for inviting international scholars, this initiative strengthens TOU’s international academic ties and unlocks new avenues for scientific collaboration with foreign partners.
