Toraighyrov University hosted a working meeting with Professor Muhammad Ali from Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU, Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan).
Quaid-i-Azam University is one of Pakistan’s premier research institutions, ranking 381st in the QS World University Rankings 2027 and holding the top position among universities in Pakistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed priority avenues for further partnership in higher education, scientific research, and academic mobility.
Special focus was placed on expanding collaboration in the field of biotechnology. Following the discussions, a decision was made to draft and sign an agreement on launching a joint master's degree program in Biotechnology. The initiative outlines joint curriculum design, academic support, and student and faculty exchanges.
Scientific cooperation will encompass joint research projects, co-authored publications in high-impact international journals, scientific seminars, and the sharing of research methodology.
As part of his visit, Professor Muhammad Ali will deliver an open lecture titled "Academic Writing and Practice in Developing International Projects." The session will cover scientific drafting, publication strategy, and international research proposal design.
Additionally, series of lectures and masterclasses on cutting-edge trends in biotechnology, genomics, and the application of artificial intelligence in scientific research are scheduled for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students in the Biotechnology and Agrotechnology programs.
Partnership between Toraighyrov University and Quaid-i-Azam University has been active since 2023, consistently growing across educational and research domains.
