In honor of May 1st — Unity Day — a comprehensive round table was held at Toraighyrov University featuring faculty members, experts, and students. The primary goal of the event was to scientifically examine the role of the new constitutional amendments in strengthening social accord and interethnic harmony.
During the meeting, participants discussed the legal foundations of stability and unity in Kazakhstan's multiethnic society. Amantai Kudabayev, Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences and Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, defined the place of national values in state policy and their importance in maintaining social integrity. Professor Aiman Zeinullina, Head of the Trilingualism Department and Candidate of Philological Sciences, examined the conceptual directions of language policy in conjunction with constitutional principles.
Gulnara Shamshudinova, Associate Professor of the Department of Law and PhD, elaborated on the constitutional significance of the principle of equality in protecting citizens' rights. Madi Rakhimov, Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and PhD, analyzed the interconnectedness of the Constitution and national unity in shaping a sustainable future.
Boris Polomarchuk, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences, provided a comprehensive analysis of the formation of new political institutions, as well as the challenges and development prospects following the adoption of the constitutional amendments.
Students actively participated in the discussion, sharing their perspectives on the rights and responsibilities of youth in building a "Just Kazakhstan." They highlighted the historical and educational significance of Unity Day, emphasizing that unity stems from shared values and spiritual integrity.
In conclusion, it was noted that the new Constitution is a strategic document aimed at strengthening social stability, ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens, and elevating national unity to a new level.
