As part of the Digital Nauryz decade, the International Office at Toraighyrov University organized a cultural and educational event titled "Nauryz – A Festival of Tradition and Harmony" to mark Solidarity Day, featuring the participation of international students.
Chairman of the Board – Rector Nurlan Medetov stated in his speech:
"Nauryz is a shared holiday of the Turkic peoples that brings nations and ethnicities together, promoting friendship and peace. It is essential that the international students at our university also experience this festive spirit and witness firsthand the essence of Kazakh hospitality."
The event was centered on the intersection of various cultures and aimed at strengthening the values of friendship, mutual respect, and cooperation within the university's multinational environment. This gathering provided international students with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Kazakh traditions.
During the festive program, students from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and other countries showcased their talents, presenting the unique aspects of their national cultures through songs and dances. Each performance highlighted the spiritual affinity between nations and the harmony of cultural diversity.
The event demonstrated that Nauryz is not only a spring festival but also a symbol of peace, accord, and mutual understanding. Such initiatives within the university contribute to the development of international cooperation and foster a cultural dialogue among learners.
At the conclusion of the event, all participants gathered on stage to share the festive mood. The evening became a vivid reflection of true friendship and unity, bringing together representatives of various nationalities.
