As part of the "Digital Nauryznama" decade and in observance of National Sports Day, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences organized a competition featuring traditional national games. Eight teams participated in the event, showcasing their competitive spirit. Notably, international students also took an active part, demonstrating a keen interest in the local national culture.



Participants displayed their skills in traditional games such as Asyk Atu, Bes Asyk, Archery, Tug-of-War, Arm Wrestling, and Togyzkumalak. This competition was not merely a sporting contest but served as an important cultural and educational platform aimed at reviving national values.



According to the overall results of the competition:



• 3rd Place — Faculty of Agricultural Sciences;
• 2nd Place — Faculty of Computer Sciences;
• 1st Place — Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

 


For Toraighyrov University, promoting national games is a vital mechanism for shaping the historical consciousness of the younger generation, preserving spiritual heritage, and strengthening national identity. Through traditional sports, students gain a deeper understanding of the nation's customs and internalize the principles of collective spirit and mutual respect. Furthermore, such events contribute to the promotion of national culture within a multicultural environment and foster intercultural dialogue.
