On the eve of Independence Day, a discussion platform titled “My Homeland – Kazakhstan” was held at Toraighyrov University by the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, involving active students.

The event aimed to promote national values among students, strengthen patriotic awareness, and foster a sense of responsibility for the future of Independent Kazakhstan. During the meeting, the Head of the Department, Professor Arman Akishev, presented a historical overview of Kazakhstan’s path to independence and emphasized its significance for the country’s development and the future of young people.

The discussion encouraged students to engage in meaningful dialogue on the values of Independence, the importance of peace and unity, and the contribution of young people to the country’s future development. The meeting, held in an active and open format, clearly demonstrated the students’ civic engagement and patriotic spirit.

For the university, the idea of Independence is not merely a historical concept but one that is closely linked to enhancing the nation’s intellectual potential through education, research, and civic engagement. In this regard, Toraighyrov University considers the development of conscientious, patriotic young professionals who are deeply concerned about the country’s future to be a key part of its mission.
