Astana hosted the results of the national competition for student scholarships of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation. A total of 259 applications were submitted from all regions of the country. Forty full-time students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions became recipients of the named scholarships. Among the laureates was Diana Vakulina, a 4th-year student majoring in Russian Philology (group Phil(r)-402).



According to Alkei Margulanuly, Deputy Executive Director of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation, awarding named scholarships is one of the ways to recognize students’ achievements and support young people striving for academic excellence.
