A special session was held in Almaty during the General Assembly of the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NEA RK), where the country’s best engineers were announced.

The competition received 75 applications from all regions of Kazakhstan, and the commission selected 11 top engineers of 2025 who made a significant contribution to major industrial and innovative projects.

Among the awardees is Ramis Zaripov, an engineer-designer from Toraighyrov University. He is the author of Kazakhstan’s first eco-friendly pontoon complex designed for cleaning water bodies, which operates entirely on solar energy. The project has received two patents, and the full-scale prototype has successfully passed testing. This innovative solution aligns with the goals of the national project “Taza Kazakhstan” and opens new opportunities for introducing green technologies in the environmental sector.

Toraighyrov University congratulates Ramis Zaripov on this well-deserved recognition and emphasizes that his work makes an important contribution to the development of engineering science and ecological innovation in Kazakhstan.
