Representatives of the German organization LOGO e.V. (Landwirtschaft und Oekologisches Gleichgewicht mit Osteuropa) - Director Hartwig Menne and Program Manager Marina Pohl visited Toraighyrov University.

The visit focused on discussing prospects for further strengthening the partnership within the joint project that enables 2nd–3rd year students of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences to complete six-month industrial internships at farming enterprises in Germany.

Cooperation between the university and LOGO e.V. has been successfully developing since 2021. During this period, more than 10 undergraduate students have completed internships in Germany, gaining modern agricultural competencies, practical experience, and valuable exposure to European standards of agricultural production.

The meeting was attended by Renat Nurgozhin, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; Bibigul Akshulakova, Head of the Center for International Cooperation; Zhastlek Uakhitov, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences; as well as heads of relevant departments. The parties discussed expanding internship areas, increasing the number of students sent for training, and further cooperation in educational and research activities.

The partnership with LOGO e.V. provides students with additional opportunities for professional development: long-term internships at leading German farms, acquisition of international experience and skills, improved competitiveness in the labor market, and exchange of advanced technologies between Kazakhstan and Germany. Toraighyrov University expressed gratitude to the representatives of the organization for their visit and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening international cooperation in agricultural education.
