As part of the Ministry’s program to attract foreign researchers, the Faculty of Energy and Faculty of Natural Sciences at Toraighyrov University welcomed renowned scholars from Pakistan – Professor Zia Ur Rehman (h-index 37) from Quaid-i-Azam University, Director of the A.K. Khan Institute of Materials and Advanced Sciences, and Professor Niaz Muhammad (h-index 23) from Abdul Wali Khan University.

During their visit, the professors will deliver lectures for students of both faculties and provide scientific consultations to master’s and PhD students. In addition, they plan to co-author scientific articles with the university’s academic staff members and implement several joint research projects.

This visit opens new avenues for cooperation with leading Pakistani higher education institutions and strengthens joint academic and scientific partnerships.

The arrival of Pakistani scholars not only enhances the university’s scientific potential but also paves the way for expanding international research collaborations. The involvement of foreign experts contributes to:
• advancing students’ practical and laboratory skills;
• improving the quality of master’s and doctoral research projects;
• increasing the number of international publications;
• strengthening the university’s reputation within the global scientific community.
