A thematic meeting titled “Public Order: Everyone’s Responsibility” was held at Toraighyrov University as part of the public campaign “Start Discipline with Yourself!” initiated by the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event aimed to promote the principle of “Law and Order” and to enhance legal awareness among young people. Representatives of law enforcement agencies of Pavlodar Region took part in the meeting. They informed students about methods of protection against fraud, liability for drug-related crimes, the consequences of gambling, bullying, and domestic violence. The participants also discussed issues of strengthening public order and preventing offenses in society.

The speakers included Azat Shakhmanov, Investigator for Particularly Important Cases of the Department of Economic Investigations of Pavlodar Region; Irina Timirgaliyeva, Head of the Drug Crime Prevention Department of the Regional Drug Control Agency; Gulmira Shugabayeva, Deputy Chair of the Council for the Prevention of Drug Crimes; and Assemgul Sadvakasova, Psychologist at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health.

At the end of the meeting, the importance of fostering legal literacy, responsible citizenship, and respect for the law among young people was emphasized.
