As part of the Science Decade at Toraighyrov University, the scientific and practical center Mashkhur Studies held a round table dedicated to the role of Mashkhur Jusup Kopeev in the development of Kazakh society.

The event was held in two formats. Online participants included Academician, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Hankeldy Abzhanov from Almaty, who gave a lecture on “Al-Farabi and Music.” From Turkey, the Director of the “Culture and Arts of the Turkic World” Publishing House (TURKSAN), Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Ellada Garay Zade, highlighted the significance of Mashkhur’s work and spoke about the unity of Turkic countries. Irina Zelinskaya from Ukraine, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, delivered a lecture on philosophical values, comparing the life and works of Ukrainian philosopher Hryhoriy Skovoroda with those of the Kazakh Mashkhur Jusup Kopeev.

As a special gift for the event, the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan sent books about the life, works, religious views, and moral principles of our great compatriot. One of the authors, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor Bakytzhan Satershinov, familiarized the audience with the content of the books.

The concluding speech was delivered by Chief Researcher of the Scientific Center for Ethnopedagogy and Innovative Educational Technologies named after Jusupbek Aimautov, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Yengilika Zhumataeva, who presented the books to Aset Pazylov, head of the Mashkhur Jusup Museum, the Mashkhur Studies Research Center, and the university’s scientific library, Beisembayev Library.

Researcher of the Mashkhur Studies Center, Nailya Anafina, emphasized the relevance of Mashkhur Jusup Kopeev’s views.
