An informational and educational lecture on the fight against drug addiction was held at Toraighyrov University. Members of the Council for the Prevention of Crimes in the Sphere of Illegal  Turnover of Narcotic and Psychotropic Substances under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan spoke with the students.

The Republican Council, which arrived in Pavlodar, includes specialists in the field of drug addiction prevention, bloggers, journalists, athletes and representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

- Our council includes people who are not indifferent to the problem of drug addiction among the younger generation. When interacting with civil society, methods and innovations are selected for the fight against drugs and work with young people. It is necessary to talk about problems with the younger generation in their language. Therefore, by analogy with the Republican Council, such councils will be created in all regions of Kazakhstan, - noted the head of the second department of the Committee for Combating drug-related crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Secretary of the Republican Council Sergey Ilyinykh.

 In order to implement the Comprehensive Plan to Combat Drug Abuse and Drug business for 2023-2025 in Pavlodar Region, measures are being taken to increase the effectiveness of countering new challenges and threats of the modern drug business.
