A training seminar on the topic "The Role of a Secular State in Ensuring Cultural and Religious Tolerance" was held at Toraighyrov University for representatives of the university's youth organizations.

It is worth noting that the seminar was held as part of the implementation of the state budget research project No. 257 GF 24-26/8 URN AR23484991 "Increasing Cultural Tolerance and Religious Literacy of Young People in the Context of Modernization of Public Consciousness in Modern Kazakhstan."

The moderator was the head of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences, Maira Kozhamzharova.

 Speakers: Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social  Sciences Saltanat Aubakirova, member of the information and explanatory group of the Center for Analysis and Development of Interfaith Relations under the Department of Religious Affairs of the Pavlodar Region Daulet Zakaryanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Gulnara Shamshudinova and Junior Research Fellow of the project, Master, Laura Zhumasheva.

The training seminar was dedicated to the  current issues of increasing religious literacy, cultural tolerance and modernization of public consciousness. After the speakers' speeches, a practical part of the seminar was organized under the guidance of Junior Research Fellow of the project, Master,  Ainash Mazhitova.

At the end of the seminar, the participants were awarded certificates.
