Ethnofestival "Kymyz muryndyk" was held in Pavlodar.

An impromptu ethno-village was organized near the House of Friendship, the Philharmonic Society of Toraigyrov University also took part in the celebration.
Kumiss was brought to the festival not only from the Pavlodar region, but also from Astana, Kyzylorda and Abai regions.

The holiday was traditionally organized by the public association "Nur-Ana alemi".

 - According to tradition, at the beginning of summer, the nomads invited guests who tasted  mare's milk.  The fact that we are increasingly turning to the ancient customs and holidays of our ancestors is great.  I can say for sure - the holiday was a success, - said the rector of the university Yerkin Sadykov.
Also, an exhibition of needlewomen was organized here.  Takiya, various korpe, zhaynamaz, torsyk, handbags, handmade camel wool blankets, shubat - all this could be seen and tasted at the exhibition of applied arts.

It should be noted that the ethnic festival "Kymyz muryndyk" is held annually by the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan of the Pavlodar region.  There are five large horse breeding farms in the region, where  kumiss is produced.  In recent years, this type of ancient nomad craft has become increasingly popular.
