2,350 grants allocated by the “Kazakhstan Khalkyna” Foundation for school graduates and students
The “Kazakhstan Khalkyna” Foundation has decided to increase the number of grants under the Charity Program "Educational Grants of the Kazakhstan Halkyna Foundation". In total, up to 2,350 grants will be allocated for students and applicants for undergraduate programs, and a fixed scholarship amount of 40 thousand tenge will be established.
Initially, it was planned to allocate 360 grants, but due to the large number of applications, this number was increased.

The acceptance of applications for grants from applicants and students within the framework of the implementation of the Charity Program "Educational Grants of the Public Foundation “Kazakhstan Khalkyna” has already started.
The number of educational grants and scholarships for applicants has been increased to 10 grants for each OHPE, for national OHPE - up to 20 grants.
The total number of educational grants and scholarships of the Fund for applicants of the 2022-2023 academic year will be 850. The Fund provides grants with scholarships for applicants who have not received a state or other grant to pay for higher education in bachelor's degree programs in the following categories:
§ from low-income rural families;
§ persons who are orphans and left without parental care until adulthood;
§ persons with disabilities, including those with disabilities.
It should be noted that grants are awarded to applicants who have passed the UNT and scored the required passing score for admission to the OHPE.
Applicants for an educational grant from the PF “Kazakhstan Khalkyna” submit applications to the Admissions Committee of the selected organization of higher and postgraduate education (OHPE) from August 10 to August 17, 2022. The selection of applicants for a grant from the PF “Kazakhstan Khalkyna” among applicants is carried out by the Admissions Committee or any other Commission operating at the (universities) within the framework of the implementation of educational grants.
Students studying in fee-paying departments of higher education institutions are also given the opportunity to continue their education at the expense of the “Kazakhstan Khalkyna” Foundation. The number of educational grants for current students of higher education institutions has been increased to 1,500, without determining a quota for each higher education institution.
Students who can take part in the competition:
§ with disabilities, including disabilities;
§ orphans or those left without parental care until adulthood;
§ from low-income families in rural areas;
§ from single-parent families raising children with disabilities;
§ students whose parents/parent are persons with disabilities.
Students who want to receive a grant and scholarship from the Kazakhstan Halkyna Foundation submit online applications from August 1 to August 25 on the website of the Taiburyl Public Organization: taiburyl.kz. MNU students submit applications on the website of the Corporate Fund "Endowment MNU": endowment.MNU.kz
NGO "Taiburyl" and CF "Endowment MNU" are partners of the Program, provide free of charge their technical platform for receiving and processing applications from students (studying in fee-paying departments of higher education institutions and wishing to continue their education at the expense of the Fund), thus they are partners of the Fund in the implementation of the Charitable Program "Educational Grants of the PF “Kazakhstan Khalkyna”. The selection of applicants for the grant among students is carried out by the Commission created under the NGO "Taiburyl" and CF "Endowment MNU".
The tuition fee limit is up to 1 million tenge for each grant recipient student, if the annual tuition fee for a student is over 1 million tenge, the difference, that is, the amount exceeding 1 million tenge, must be paid by the grant recipient student.
Let us remind that 79 educational organizations implementing higher education educational programs (HEP) and 2 charitable organizations in the field of education participate in the Charity Program "Educational Grants of the Kazakhstan Halqyna Foundation" and 2 charitable organizations in the field of education: Taiburyl and Endowment MNU Foundation.

The grants and scholarships allocated by the Foundation are gratuitous aid. The amount is non-refundable and after completion of the training the grantee is not obliged to “work off” the funds spent on his/her training.
Grant recipients must meet the academic requirements of the host university and are obliged to complete the full course of study during the program. Failure to do so may result in termination of financial support.
