Young scientists of S.Toraighyrov PSU - Madina Karimbergenova, PhD, Associated Professor at the Faculty of Public Administration, Business and Law, Asylkhan Mazdubai, PhD, Associate Professor and Aizhan Taskarina, PhD, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering and Transport became the owners of the State Scientific Scholarship for the achievement in science.

A poetic meeting called “Zhurekten shykkan syrly soz”, at which students of the university performed their poems was held at S.Toraighyrov PSU.

A creative event was held at the University Library named after S.Beisembayev.

Young poets recited their poems, the themes of which were love, the experiences of a principal character, a creative attitude to life, the beauty of nature and others.

The event, according to the plan of the organizers, should inculcate in young people a love of poetry, develop creative abilities, ability to use graphic and expressive means of the language.

The Grappling and gi-Grappling cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan among adults and veterans was finished in Astana. About 600 athletes from all over Kazakhstan took part in the competition.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Kazakh language and Journalism of S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Kymbat Belgibayeva and a third-year student Rozalina Vakhitova took part in a four-day training on media literacy.

The 5th World Taekwondo Cup in ITF was held in Minsk. More than 1,500 athletes from 17 countries of the world competed for the title of the best taekwondo practitioner.

The title and crown of “Miss Pavlodar – 2018” was won by Madina Batyk, a student of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies and Natural Sciences at S.Toraighyrov PSU.

Pavlodar State University hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “X Toraighyrov Readings”, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of S. Toraighyrov.

The creative competition “DOMBRA PARTY” was held at S.Toraighyrov PSU.
