A meeting of members of the Council of Young Scientists under the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation with students and teaching staff members of the University took place on November 18, 2013.

TEMPUS is one of the programs of the European Union aimed at supporting the process of modernization of higher education in the partner countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Western Balkans, and the Mediterranean region mainly through inter-university cooperation projects. In 1995, TEMPUS was established in Kazakhstan.
On November 16, 2013, the Regional Scientific and Practical Center for the Study of Inter-ethnic and Inter-religious Processes will hold a contest devoted to the International Day for Tolerance for the undergraduate and graduate students of 9 faculties. It will be held in 5 nominations: the Best Article, the Best Slogan, the Best Logo, Tolerance through the Camera Lens, and Arnau.
