Representatives of ethnocultural communities of Pavlodar oblast held a united lesson of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan for students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

The lesson was moderated by the chairman of the Student Assembly “Birlik” of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Ramil Smailov. According to him, the event was aimed at popularization of the Assembly’s idea. “Against the backdrop of events in the world, it is very important for every student tо clearly understand the mission of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan” said R. Smailov.

The head of the Department of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of S. Toraighyrov PSU, Doctor of Historical Sciences Saule Mamytova delivered the welcome speech.

An honorary guest of the lesson, the chairman of the social organization “Pavlodar Oblast Muslim Women League”, a member of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Bakytzhamal Maksilova told students and academic staff members about the ethnocultural community’s activities, and also called on everyone to be a patriot of the country despite the ethnic origin.

Elina Pauli, the chairman of the Youth Communities Coordination Board of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Pavlodar oblast emphasized that “the door of ethnocultural communities is always open, and students of S. Toraighyrov PSU are welcomed as activists at any time.

A teacher of the Chechen-Ingush division of the National Revival School named after K. Darzhuman Leyla Karimova, a senior lecturer of the Department of Legal Studies of S. Toraighyrov PSU, told about the work of the school and implementation of projects on languages learning and traditions of the the Nakh ethnos.

At the end of the lesson a librarian of the imaginative literature sector and the Library of People of Kazakhstan Yelena Likhanova held a presentation of books and journals, told about peculiarities of the ethnic literature.
