An outstanding teacher, a distinctive composer, Professor of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, “Cultural Luminary of the Republic of Kazakhstan” Nazymbek Dukenbay received a first-degree medal of “Teacher of Kazakhstan”.

Nazymbek Dukenbay is an author of over 20 study guides, textbooks and songbooks, he cooperates with the local poets and painters, carries out great social work, conducts master classes and participates in professional development of music teachers and music directors of the city’s and oblast’s nursery schools. Nazymbek Sabitovich writes songs, publishes songbooks for pupils and chrestomathies for music lessons (for lower grades).

N. Dukenbay has made a great contribution to education and youth upbringing, taking this into consideration, his pedagogic biography is displayed at the Hall of Fame of the teacher community of Kazakhstan and has been included in the electronic encyclopedia.

Nazymbek Dukenbay is a promoter of the national culture, a distinctive composer, a highly qualified specialist, a foremost worker, who teaches and brings up youth. Besides this, Professor Dukenbay carries out social activities, which appreciably enrich the cultural life of the oblast and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It is gratifying to note that the contribution of Professor Dukenbay to the development of the educational system of Kazakhstan has been duly appreciated. N. S. Dukenbay has been awarded a badge of Y. Altynsarin, a commemorative medal of “The 10th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, a badge of “For Merit to the Oblast”. Apart from this, Nazymbek Sabitovich is a winner of a grand prix “Best Music Teacher” among the higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2003), a holder of an educational grant “Best University Teacher” (2006).
