The Master’s students of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Zarina Baitemirova and Yuliya Goretskaya have participated as members of the Delegation of Kazakhstan in the III Youth Economic Forum titled “Russia – Kazakhstan”, held in Sochi within the framework of the XII Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan.
The forum was organized by the government of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, “The International Youth Center” of the Russian Youth.
The objective of the event was development of interregional cooperation between two countries. During the forum young specialists, scholars, students, representatives of the unions of the rural youth from Russia and Kazakhstan discussed the problems of food safety, and cooperation in trade-economic and scientific-technical spheres.
According to the project manager, the head of the Biotechnology Department of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Kuralai Issayeva, more than 150 youth organizations have taken part in the forum.
Master’s students of PSU Zarina Baitemirova and Yuliya Goretskaya have represented the project titled “Development and examination of functional meat products with plant raw materials”.
The invention provides the production of paste products with high fiber content and rich in pectic substances that are intended for use in the meat industry in production of meat pastes, having therapeutic and preventive and radioprotective characteristics in ecologically unfavorable, industrially polluted regions. “The presentation of the project has been successful. It has awakened great interest among russian colleagues”, says Kuralai Smetkanova.
Participants of the forum have gained a great amount of useful information during master-classes, plenary meetings and forecast-sessions, have exchanged professional experience and contact information for future cooperation.
At the end of the forum, the Youth Roadmap of Development of the Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan on Problems of Food Safety Ensuring and Interregional Cooperation Perspectives has been established, also memoranda and agreements of cooperation have been signed.
