On September 19, 2015 the administration, academic staff, employees and first-year students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University celebrated Health Day.

Health Day celebration was started by the solemn opening speech of the Vice-rector for Development Strategy, Educational and Social Affairs of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar University, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Arman Akishev.

Despite the cloudy weather, Health Day turned out well. A rich competitive program, sport competitions with serious struggle for success in relay races and contests, which made the holiday interesting and fascinating, were awaiting everyone.

That day, having taken part in competitions, the academic staff and employees of PSU together with students had a chance to demonstrate their sportsmanship.

The program of Health Day also included volleyball, football, power lifting, arm wrestling and other sport competitions.

According to the results of a touristic relay race the team of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction won the championship, the mechanical engineering faculty won the second place and the 3rd prize was awarded to the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology.

Besides this, box competition was held. The student of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction, Ali Moldabayev won the 1st place, Adil Duman, the student of the faculty of Energy Engineering, got the 2nd place and the bronze was awarded to Nurbol Arashev, the student of the Faculty of Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering and Transport.

The student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Bagzhan Akylbek won the championship in power lifting, Temirlan Aydarkhanov, the first-year undergraduate student majoring in Transport, Transport Equipment and Technology won the 2nd place and the 3rd prize was awarded to Madiyar Maulit, the representative of the same faculty.
