A regional seminar-training on “Business projects management: the aim achievement technology” was conducted on September 14, 2015 at PSU, and also “NATD” JSC informational center was opened that day.

The main aim of the event was teaching young people of business projects management technologies and also stimulating youth entrepreneurship.

The seminar was opened by the deputy akim of Pavlodar Oblast, Nikolay Dychko, and the rector of PSU, Aryn Orsariyev. The speakers at the seminar were the deputy chairman of the board of “The national agency for technological development” JSC, the councilor of “Bolashak” association, Zhumatay Salimov, an international business trainer, the founder and general director of the “Happy Farm” business accelerator, Anna Degtereva (Ukraine), the head of the regional affiliate “Damu” Entrepreneurship Development Fund” JSC of Pavlodar Oblast, Yerkanat Abenov.

“At the present time our collective has gone to the way of creating an entrepreneurial research university. While forming institutional infrastructure, the Startup Academy is being created, the informational centers “NATD” and “Bolashak Startup” are being inaugurated, and tomorrow we are going to open the “Damu” front office” said the rector of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, doctor of political sciences, Aryn Orsariyev, “I suppose the cooperation with NATD will let our University gain additional consulting knowledge and diversify the financing sources of startup projects of our students, Master’s and doctoral students.”

The deputy chairman of the board of “The national agency for technological development” JSC, Zhumatay Salimov told about the support mechanisms for beginner businessmen, startup projects, and also the opportunity for students, scholars and entrepreneurs to receive innovation grants. “I would like to share some news with you: starting from September the list of priority directions of innovation grants has been expanded from 8 to 16. Now we admit applicants with innovation projects in the sphere of nano and space science, progressive technologies of furniture and woodworking industry, pharmaceutical industry, medical industry, bioengineering, genetic engineering, agro chemistry, robotics” told the representative of NATD, Z. Salimov.

The seminar-training on “Business projects management: the aim achievement technology” was conducted by a business trainer at international level, the director of “Business Systems” company, the author of programs for unique corporative training schools, Oleg Afanasyev.

During the seminar participants shaped their opinion on such definitions as “team”, “project”, “the method of project formation”, learned which competencies were vital for a manager, examined the risks inherent to business projects et al. The trainer told participants of the seminar how to define a problem, formulate the main objective and figure out the easiest way to achieve the definite aim.

In total, more than 40 young entrepreneurs, leaders of youth organizations, holders of the “Bolashak” scholarship, young scholars and innovators attended the seminar.

“This is a very useful seminar-training for the youth. We had an opportunity to discuss mechanisms of startup projects creation, which are the trends in the world market. Now I am working on my own project and I am going to participate in the “Startup Bolashak” competition, which application process will last till September 20. That is why the information I gained here, in my opinion, will be useful in writing a project” told one of participants of the seminar-training.

At the end the results of the seminar were summed up, participants were given a chance to ask questions to speakers and share their impressions.
