Members of the academic staff and the Department of Science and Innovation of S. Toraighyrov PSU took part in the Innovation Boost campaign.
Ministry of Industry and New Technologies (MINT) in collaboration with the National Agency for Technological Development launched a special bus expedition called Innovation Boost to the regions of our country with the aim of finding new ideas, technological solutions and inventions within the National Contest of Innovative Business Plans.
The bus went to all regions of Kazakhstan in order to find young scientists and talented inventors in different parts of the country.
PSU members took an active part in the campaign: Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Nurlan Yerzhanov, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Toktar Bekseitov, Deputy Dean for General Affairs of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction Gulnara Abildinova, Deputy Dean for General Affairs of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Zhastylek Uakhitov, Head of the Department of Production and Standardization of Construction Materials, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor Viktor Stanevich, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor Asylbek Kasenov, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Bolatzhan Mustafayev, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Professor Pavel Korniyenko, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Head of the Department of Architecture and Design Leonid Bulyga. PSU members presented their projects and filed their applications for participation in the contest. Besides, they also received on-site consultation on support tools from the National Agency for Technological Development, namely, innovation grants and the program for technological business incubation.
Members of Yertis Science and Technology Park and Regional Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer of Pavlodar State University participated in the exhibition of innovative projects. The following projects were presented: Universal Wind Turbine (by Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Professor Ivan Shumeyko); Study of Productive and Biological Characteristics of Etti-Merinos, a New Breed of Sheep (by Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Kairly Omashev); Algorithms, Data Structures and Programming (by Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences, Professor Vasily Krivoruchko); Expanding the Resource Base of Electric Steel Production through the Processing of Sludge from Alumina Production in Kazakhstan using the Romelt Technology (by Candidate of Engineering Sciences, Pyotr Bykov).
There was also a business-training for innovators and developers of technology for preparation and promotion of innovative projects. PSU members received certificates of participation in this business training.
