S. Toraighyrov PSU won the All-Russian Festival of Scientific and Educational Films and Programs of the University Television "University-TV" (Tomsk) in the Best Program Design nomination.

Editor of the Media Center of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Yelena Dyachenko, Head of the Department of the Learning Process Informatization Sapar Toksanov and programming engineer of the Department Yelena Baranova took part in the All-Russian Festival of Scientific and Educational Films and Programs of the University Television "University-TV" and attended a scientific and practical seminar "Educational Television: Preservation and Development of the Intellectual Potential of the Country" which took place at the National Research Tomsk State University.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Siberian Open University Association, and Public Chamber of Tomsk region.

Members of Pavlodar State University presented the film entitled 'Wisdom Returned to the People' devoted to Kazakh poet, philosopher, historian and collector of folklore of Kazakh people Mashkhur Zhusip Kopeyev.

S. Toraighyrov PSU won the main prize in the Best Program Design nomination.

Many other universities and organizations submitted their works for this Festival: V.G. Shukhov Belgorod State Technological University, Kemerovo State University, Tomsk Polytechnic University, South Ural State University, F.M. Dostoyevsky Omsk State University, Tomsk State University of Control and Radio-electronics, Novosibirsk State Technical University, Sakha national broadcasting company, Tomsk STRC, Saratov State Legal Academy, etc.

The event was attended by the Rector of the National Research Tomsk State University, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Eduard Galazhinsky, Vice-rector for Network Information Activities of TSU, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee Vladimir Demkin, Deputy Head of the Regional Department of All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Andrey Nikitin, Editor of Special Projects Department of Tomsk STRC Pyotr Kondakov, Head of the Department of Organizational Support of TSU Yelena Belskaya, Chief of the Information Policy Department of TSU Yulia Emer and many others.

Participation in such large-scale events is a great incentive for future career development of the University members, which, in its turn, gives great prospects for high-quality interregional media coverage of scientific and cultural activities of the University.
