Representatives of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University visited Aluminum of Kazakhstan JSC on April 15, 2014.

President of the Republic of Kazakhstan emphasized in his Address to the Nation 'Kazakhstan's Way-2050: Common Goal, Common Interests and Common Future' that it is necessary to ensure the transition to the guaranteed technical education. Pavlodar region is one of the main industrial regions of Kazakhstan. It has one of the largest territorial production complexes in the CIS with an optimal combination of traditional and technologically advanced production sites.

S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University held its presentation at one of the largest industrial companies of the region. Such a close cooperation between higher education institutions and real sector companies is one of the ways to realize the ideas expressed by the President in his Address to the Nation.

Dean of the Foundation Faculty, Candidate of Pedagogic Sciences, Associate Professor Ayzhan Kuderina told about the main aspects of admission to the University, the application procedure and its deadlines.

Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor Igor Zakharov told about the main advantages of studying at PSU.

Ivan Davydenko, a third year student of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology, shared his impressions of his trip to Riga (Latvia) under the Academic Mobility program.

During the meeting, parents of prospective students saw a video about Pavlodar State University showing the main trends of the University, its educational programs, including those in the field of engineering sciences.

At the end of the meeting, Vice-president of Aluminum of Kazakhstan JSC Muratkazy Zhangazakov thanked the representatives of S. Toraighyrov PSU for organization of this event. '797 specialists, who graduated from PSU, now work for our company, 501 of them hold managerial positions', said Muratkazy Zhangazakov.

It has already become a tradition for the best artists and creative teams of Pavlodar State University to give performances during such events. Soloist of the Student Philharmonic of PSU Asel Kulzhanova, Jam modern dance crew, and Pavlodar Zhastar Kuramasy KVN team helped create the right atmosphere for this event.

At the end of the meeting, parents of prospective students had an opportunity to learn more about the educational programs offered by the University from Deans of the faculties of S. Toraighyrov PSU.
