An Open Day for prospective students from the schools of Uspenka area was held in the Concert Hall of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University on March 31, 2014.

On behalf of the University management and teaching staff members, the Dean of the Foundation Faculty, Candidate of Pedagogic Sciences, Associate Professor Ayzhan Kuderina made a presentation of the oldest higher education institution of the region, S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University. She emphasized that Pavlodar State University is a major research center which has proved its competitiveness far beyond Kazakhstan.

Ayzhan Kuderina also told about the main aspects of admission to the University. She noted the advantages of studying at PSU and told about the application procedure and its deadlines.

During the event, prospective students saw a video about Pavlodar State University showing the main trends of the University and the programs offered by its faculties.

Natalya Tomashevskaya, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Natural Science, told the prospective students about her impressions of participation in the Academic Mobility program available at PSU.

It has already become a tradition for the best artists and creative teams of Pavlodar State University to give performances during the Open Days. Soloists and vocal duets of the Student Philharmonic of PSU, Jam modern dance crew, and Pavlodar Zhastar Kuramasy KVN team helped create the right atmosphere for this event.

As a part of the Open Day program, prospective students received consultations regarding the programs offered by PSU and future career perspectives.
